eat drink perth 2011
Yes it’s that time of the year again!
Eat Drink Perth is upon us once more for the entire month of March and I can’t think of a better way to eat, drink and be merry with friends and family. There are lip smacking specials (especially for city workers), food filled tours and cool events, and that’s just to name a few, so check out the pdf brochure or the Eat Drink Perth website and get planning!
Some of the festival things I’m hanging out for:
Twilight Hawker Market and the City Food Fair. .
The 1907 set menu dinner which includes an amuse bouche, entree, main and dessert for $69, or $110 with matching wines.
The Kakulas Brothers Tour – a free personal tour around the store.
If not for the daytime job I would definitely be at the Delicious Chocolate and Irresistible Cheese tasting events being held at the State Library!
Same goes for the Chef and Author Talks being held on March 22 and 25. See Alain Fabregues and Russell Blaikie talk about their culinary journeys…
Claisebrook Carnivale and Duck Derby – a rubber ducky race!
And finally, if I didn’t have a heart thumping reaction to caffeine, the Coffee Appreciation Evening at CNR.
You can catch up on Eat Drink Perth news and upcoming events on Facebook and Twitter.
Have fun this month and maybe I’ll see some of you guys out and about at the events.
